The kids were climbing the walls today, so I got them dressed in their raingear and sent them out to play in the wet weather...apparently, just as much fun can be had in bad weather as in good :D

Not the best picture of these, I know...but you'd think they wouldn't be guarded like they were made out of gold or something!  I drove around for about an hour trying to find a way to get closer and a better shot (also of the singular, since that's actually the theme), but this was the best I could get!  It'll have to do, since I don't feel much like trying again...

I'm exhausted...our school had it's annual exhibition today (and yesterday, but I didn't have to be there then...).  5 classmates and myself were responsible for organizing 'the do', in addition to making sure our own work was completed in time...this is my chair, but I'm still not sure about the seat...I might change it to be more neutral for when it joins it's 7 brothers and sisters around a table that I'll be making next fall...

The kids and I visited our neighbours the other day.  While the kids were busy playing with their friends and the moms were busy gossiping chatting, we saw their dad come home (exhausted from a hard day's work)...sit himself down for a bit...and not long after that we noticed that he wasn't quite 'with us' any more ;D

On my way to school a couple of days ago, I noticed a large flock of swans.  Since I had a few moments to spare, I stopped for a quick shoot.  It was such a lovely start to my day, to see these gorgeous, graceful creatures calmly floating around on the still water, enjoying the already warm weather in the early morning light.

This is Nordica, one of our rabbits.  Nordica and her mom, Elvis, get to run loose, living in a barn all winter...but soon it'll be time once again for the large cage we have for them out in our yard, where the grass grows green and they get lots and lots of bunny treats every day :D

While I'm focusing on negative emotions, I might as well get this one out of the way...

The part that I HATE THE MOST about living in the area that I do, is that it's fur farming central.  It literally makes me sick to my stomach...but it's a normal part of life for many here, and of course there are arguments FOR and arguments AGAINST (so please don't write any nasty comments about this!!  I respect that some people choose to make a living this way...but I don't have to agree...or like it...)
